A loudspeaker that is designed to reproduce bass frequencies only.

Woofer is a loudspeaker that is designed to reproduce bass frequencies only. Woofer reproduces the low-mid frequencies, usually from ~20Hz up to ~500Hz. Similar to a subwoofer but with a higher range.
