Cancellation Policies

Guests may cancel their session through the mobile app and the cancellation is effective immediately. Whether the guest receives a full refund, a partial refund, or receives no refund depends on the circumstances. The total amount refunded will depend on when the guest canceled the session and the studio cancellation policy set by the Studeur.

Please note and understand that our service fees are non-refundable according to our Terms of Service.

Life happens and sometimes guests have to cancel their sessions. To keep things running smoothly, you can choose a cancellation policy for each of your listings.

There are three (3) cancellation types:

Chill

Cancel 24 hours before the session starts for a full 100% refund

Creatives/Guests can cancel until 24 hours before the session for a full refund.

 

If Guests cancel after that, Studeurs will be paid for the time booked.

 

 

Moderate

Cancel 48 hours before the session starts for a full 100% refund

Creatives/Guests can cancel until 48 hours before the session for a full refund.

 

If Guests cancel after that, Studeurs will be paid for the time booked.

Strict

No cancellation or refunds

Creatives/Guests won’t be able to cancel their session or receive a full refund. You can still cancel the session but the studeur will be paid.

 

Chill: Cancel 24 hours before the session starts for a full 100% refund

  • Guests can cancel until 24 hours before the session for a full refund and Studeurs won’t be paid.

  • If Guests cancel after that, Studeurs will be paid for the time booked.

Moderate: Cancel 48 hours before the session starts for a full 100% refund

  • Guests can cancel until 48 hours before the session for a full refund, and Studeurs won’t be paid.

  • If Guests cancel after that, Studeurs will be paid for the time booked.

Strict: No cancellation or refunds

  • Guests won’t be able to cancel their session or receive a full refund. Studeurs will be paid fully.

Session was canceled by a Studeur

If a Studeur cancels a guest’s session, Stufinder will refund the guest in full. Funds from the canceled session will be refunded 24 hours after the cancellation so a guest can rebook a session. 

Sessions canceled by Stufinder

In some cases, Stufinder’s trust and safety team will cancel a guest’s session. If that were to happen, Stufinder will contact the guest and host, and issue the guest a full refund. In these instances, Customer Support is available to help guests rebook.

Please note: We are always testing new cancellation policies. 

There may be some cases where your cancellation policy as a Studeur is overridden (i.e. session was canceled by us). In this case, we would reach out personally.
