What does Licensee mean?
The person or entity to whom the work is licensed.
A licensee is the person or entity to whom the work is licensed. The person or entity who wants the license, such as a TV show or feature film that licenses a song or composition is a licensee because they have licensed the right to use that musical work.
Example sentence: “ABC News was the licensee.”
