What does Transport mean?
A section of a DAW that contains the record, play, pause, stop, and other buttons.
Transport is the area in a DAW or sequencer that contains the playback controls (e.g. record, play, pause, stop, rewind, fast-forward, etc.). DAW transport emulates the functions of a tape machine transport
