What does Velocity mean?
A MIDI parameter for each note that is played.
Velocity is the force at which a note is performed and recorded. Velocity usually determines the loudness of the notes. It can also be used to modify other parameters on synthesizers.
Example sentence: “I tweaked the velocity a bit.”
