“The House Pop Smoke Built”

On the first episode of our new series Studio Tours, we visit Studio 17, a recording studio in Brooklyn, NYC. Studio 17 is located in the Bushwick area on Flushing Ave in Brooklyn. The studio is nicknamed “The House Pop Smoke Built” because Pop Smoke recorded a lot out of here which allowed them to create their Tunnel Suite which is dedicated to Pop Smoke. You can book the Tunnel Suite (A Suite), B Suite, & C Suite on the Stufinder App now. We take you inside Studio 17’s building to see their 3 rooms and staff.

The studio owner/studeur Ack Jones takes us through each room. The C Suite is for locking in for smaller sessions where it’s just the producer or engineer with the artist. The B suite is their middle sized room for a decent group, the studio setup in their B Suite is the one Pop Smoke used to record ‘Welcome to the Party’, ‘What You Know Bout Love’, ‘Got It On Me’, & many more. Finally, Studio 17’s A Suite also known as the Tunnel Suite with all new equipment is for larger parties and really locking in.
