The Bunker Recording Studios was founded in February 2022 by producer and engineer Mike Tobinsky. Located in North Hollywood, California, The Bunker Recording Studios’ The Bunker Room is $50/hour and includes an in-house engineer, the room has a Neumann u87 mic running into the bae 1073 mic pre amp into a SA 76 ADG, and an art dual channel Opto compressor. The Bunker Recording Studios’ past clients include Lil Xan, Steven Cannon, Lamont Holt, Swank, as well as lots of local artists from the LA area/throughout the San Fernando Valley, and many more.
The biggest record mixed at The Bunker so far is “Pink Floyd Remix” by Jadys Birthday (ft. 03 Greedo). Mike assisted the mix with his good friend Tylor Bondar who is a platinum & gold engineer for Atlantic Records.
“I started my studio initially because I had just a normal home setup but I could never bump as loud as I wanted to with my parents always there. I went to my first studio session in North Hollywood and right after that a week later I found a location and opened The Bunker Recording Studios after seeing what it was like to work in a professional studio environment.” Mike told us.
When we asked what what The Bunker Recording Studios mean to him, he says “My studio means everything to me. This is my life, my business, and my main source of income. Wouldn’t be where I’m at today without opening up The Bunker.”
